With support from the Scottish Government through NIRAS Zambia, CSPR has successfully hosted a national dialogue to discuss the Green Economy and Climate Change Bill No. 18 of 2024. The dialogue brought together key stakeholders in the environmental protection and conservation sector such as the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment, the Vice Chairperson for the National Assembly of Zambia Committee on Agriculture, Lands and Natural Resource Management, Members of Parliament, and community members from Sioma, Shang`ombo and Sinazongwe districts.

The Ministry of Green Economy and Environment – Zambia informed the meeting on the objects and benefits of the Bill. The panel discussion deliberated on the opportunities and benefits of the new framework, challenges and gaps in the Bill.
