With support from Save the Children Zambia and Unicef Zambia, #CSPR hosted the 2024 Children’s Parliament in Solwezi .

The children’s parliament is the largest children’s platform in Zambia that allows children to analyse and debate child

-focused sections of the national budget.

This year’s theme allowed children’s to analyse the 2025 education allocations in the national budget and give there submissions on the strides being taken towards achieving inclusive and quality education.

The event was graced by Honorable Stafford Mulusa, MP who commended the children for the willingness to participate in governance. He further recommended that this initiative should be introduced in more schools for improved child participation in national development.
