The primary objective of this visit was to assess the progress achieved since the inception of the women and youth social accountability project with support from Diakonia, aimed at enabling them to realize their social, cultural, and economic rights.
During the visit, courtesy calls were made to the Mayor and District Commissioner of Mansa district. Additionally, a stakeholders’ engagement meeting was conducted, providing an opportunity for interactions with the PPMT members and government officials. Subsequently, the four directors proceeded to the Chisunka community, where they engaged with the women, youth, tradition and civic leaders to evaluate and gather insights on their accomplishments since the project’s inception.
