ZAMBIA’S PUBLIC DEBT AND WOMEN

With support from the Open Society Foundation (OSF), the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is conducting a groundbreaking research study in Mansa and Samfya districts. This pioneering study seeks to shed light on the often-overlooked consequences of Zambia’s public debt and debt management policies on women’s access to essential public services.
By examining the gender-specific challenges and barriers faced by women, this research aims to:
📍Identify the disproportionate impact of public debt on women’s lives
📍Explore innovative solutions to ensure women benefit from public debt management
📍Inform policy decisions that promote gender equality and social justice
