The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) with support from Joint Country Program (JCP), on 8th April 2024 conducted a capacity building training for community savings groups in Nchelenge district of Luapula Province.

The training aimed at familiarizing the community savings groups with the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) guidelines and application processes and financial management skills.

The Nchelenge community savings groups were also equipped with knowledge and skills to access other empowerment opportunities available to them.

Furthermore, the training empowered the savings groups to improve their livelihoods and effectively monitor the government programmes and services at the grassroots level.
