The Civil Society for poverty Reduction (CSPR) has attended the 2024 Luapula Mining Indaba (LUAMI) under the theme, ” Unlocking Luapula Province’s mining investment potential for economic development and poverty reduction.”

The overall goal of LUAMI 2024 is to bring together stakeholders with various expertise in mining to highlight the investment potential that mining in Luapula offers and to put in place safeguards to ensure that minerals mined from the province contribute to socio-economic development.

Key among the stakeholder in attendance include the Joint Country Program Norwegian Church Aid, Diakonia and Mining companies.
