Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) has trained duty bearers in Mufumbwe District on social accountability. The training, held on March 13, 2024, aimed to introduce recently adjusted budget tracking tools across various sectors. This initiative preceded the commencement of the Budget Tracking process in the District, enabling participants to familiarize themselves with the new tools and providing orientation to newly appointed public officials regarding sector-specific tools. Additionally, the training reinforced the collaborative efforts among key stakeholders involved in the project, emphasizing the importance of social accountability for effective development. Notable ministries and stakeholders, including Social Welfare and Community Development, Education, Infrastructure, Health, Agriculture, Caritas, and the Local Community Based Organization – Mucamo, actively participated in the budget tracking process.
