The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) has oriented local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the National Assembly of Zambia and CSOs/Think Tanks/Academia.

The main objective of the MoU is to enhance cooperation between the parties in the areas of Public Financial Management (PFM), Fiscal Policy, and Economic Matters.

To operationalize the core business of the MoU, the Parties have set up a Technical Working Group Chaired by the National Assembly, Co-Chaired by CSPR, and the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) Secretary.

Speaking at the event was the Executive Director of CSPR Faides TembaTemba and Simeon Mtambo from the Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO).
