With support from the Open Society Foundation (OSF), the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is conducting a groundbreaking research study in Mansa and Samfya districts. This pioneering study seeks to shed light on the often-overlooked consequences of Zambia’s public debt and debt management policies on women’s access to essential public services.
By examining the gender-specific challenges and barriers faced by women, this research aims to:
Identify the disproportionate impact of public debt on women’s lives
Explore innovative solutions to ensure women benefit from public debt management
Inform policy decisions that promote gender equality and social justice
